Golden Cap Local Area
Golden Cap Holiday Park is located between the villages of Seatown and Chideock, with a choice of 3 village pubs and a bus stop. Take the “Jurassic Coaster” bus on a day out to a choice of coastal towns.
Guests staying at Golden Cap Holiday Park are welcome at Martin’s Bar & Restaurant and Highlands End Leisure Club at the nearby sister park called Highlands End Holiday Park (3 miles). Dogs are welcome on Seatown Beach between 1st October and 30th April and, with the countryside and footpaths surrounding the park, there are plenty of places to explore for dog owners.
Head west and visit the seaside village of Charmouth with its Heritage Coast Centre and fossil-strewn beach, or Lyme Regis with its ‘Cobb’ harbour wall, a sandy beach popular with families, a choice of eateries and a range of activities including stand up paddbleboarding and kayaking.
To the east, you will find the historic market town of Bridport, the fishing village of West Bay (the set for ITV’s Broadchurch) and the iconic Colmer’s Hill with great views from the top. Find out more about the Jurassic Coast.
