At West Dorset Leisure Holidays we have family-run Holiday Parks on or near the Jurassic Coast and a choice of many different types of accommodation for your glamping holidays in Dorset, with glamping available at 3 different parks! Each park has different styles of glamping accommodation available, along with different facilities.
Glamping is perfect for couples, young families and groups of friends who wish to enjoy all the benefits of camping holidays but without worrying about all the equipment you need to pack, the typically unreliable British weather and the hassle of putting up a tent. The glamping accommodation has a few welcome home comforts, such as heaters, plug sockets and lights and select accommodation types are dog friendly and welcome up to 1 or 2 dogs. Facilities in each type of accommodation vary, with some having small kitchenettes and/or shower rooms with a toilet.
The parks are in spectacular locations close to coast and countryside and surrounded by great attractions, beaches, places to eat and events.

Glamping at Highlands End Holiday Park
Highlands End boasts a vast range of glamping accommodation, with options to suit all budgets and family sizes, and dog-friendly pods are available.
Bronze Glamping Pods are a fantastic budget-friendly glamping option and can sleep between 4 and 6 people. These back-to-basics pods have just the essentials – electricity, lighting and beds.
Silver Glamping Pods come with a double bed and small kitchenette, with a pull down dining area. These pods sleep between 2 and 4 people, with the larger pods also benefitting from a sofa-bed instead of the standard sofa.
Gold Glamping Pods are our brand new glamping accommodation and come with all the luxuries you could want. As well as full kitchens, each pod has its own toilet and shower room. Gold Pods are our only glamping accommodation available to book all year-round!

Glamping at Golden Cap Holiday Park
Our popular Jurassic Escape Pods at Golden Cap are a luxurious glamping pod with compact living, a modern style, a shower room and 1 double bed & 2 single beds sleeping up to 4 people. There is an open-plan feel with a bright and airy living space and high ceiling, plus a fully glass front with French doors onto an integrated and covered veranda with decking area and outdoor furniture.
There is a fully fitted kitchen and a generous washroom with toilet and shower. Up to 2 dogs are welcome in select dog-friendly Jurassic Escape Pods and each Pod has allocated parking next to it for 1 car.

Glamping at Sandyholme Holiday Park
At Sandyholme Holiday Park we are pleased to offer multiple styles of glamping tents. Perfect for a back-to-basics camping experience without having to put up the tent yourself! All these tents come with a fire pit and logs provided, so you can have a go at toasting marshmallows or even cooking some sausages over an open fire! Guests in all styles of tents will need to use the nearby facility blocks.
Safari Tents are large 5 x 7 metre tents with an open-plan living area with sofa, dining table and a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, 2 ring induction hob, cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery. There are 2 separate bedrooms with wardrobes, one of which has a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. Outside, there is a large covered decking area with seating and a picnic bench down on the grass. Our Safari Tents are dog-friendly and allow up to two dogs, but please note the decking area is not gated.
Our electric bell tent is a large circular tent, 5 metres in diameter. It has a unique shape with a high roof and 2 doors for great ventilation. The tent is spacious and sleeps up to 4 people with a double bed and 2 single camp beds provided as well as plug sockets to charge your essentials. Unfortunately this bell tent is not dog-friendly.
If you really want to get back-to-basics, we have a brand new meadow with a number of additional bell tents. This meadow, surrounded by a bubbling stream and with a small lake in the corner, is non-electric, and the wifi does not reach here. Perfect for those who want to switch off, disconnect from the grid and just relax. Please note you will need to bring your own beds and bedding for these tents. There are dog-friendly and dog-free tents available.

Dog friendly Glamping holidays
All of our Holiday Parks are perfect for dog owners and we have dog friendly Glamping accommodation at Highlands End, Golden Cap and Sandyholme. All 3 parks have designated dog exercising meadows and Highlands End also benefits from a dog shower and the dog friendly Martin’s Bar & Restaurant.
Many beaches in Dorset are dog friendly all year round, including Eype Beach (next to Highlands End) and Ringstead Bay (5 miles from Sandyholme). Seatown Beach (next to Golden Cap) is dog friendly from November to April, but the South West Coast Path runs right past the park!
A maximum of 2 dogs per booking are allowed in Jurassic Escape Pods at Golden Cap and Safari Tents at Sandyholme, while the Gold, Silver and Bronze Pods at Highlands End allow a maximum of 1 dog. Charges apply.
