Sandyholme Holiday Park is nestled on the edge of the Purbeck area of Dorset and is located close to some of the county’s best attractions and places to visit. Explore the famous Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, wander the golden sands of Weymouth Beach and visit some incredible museums in the county town of Dorchester. The park is also a great place to try glamping, with our safari tents and bell tent waiting for you. These tents are the perfect way to experience camping in the outdoors, without the hassle of putting up your tents, and with the added luxuries of electricity and proper beds.
On the Park you’ll find some great facilities, including a wildlife lake with ducks and wild birds, a children’s play area, playing field, free toilet and shower facilities and much more. In this quiet, countryside location, you’ll be surrounded by farmland and wildlife, while still being only 5 miles from the coast!

Safari Tents
The safari tents at Sandyholme Holiday Park are our most spacious glamping accommodation and sleep up to 4 people. The large 5 x 7 metre tents have an open-plan living area with sofa, dining table and a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, 2 ring induction hob, cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery. There are plug sockets, lighting and a heater included. There are 2 separate bedrooms with wardrobes, one of which has a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. Outside, there is a large covered decking area with seating and a picnic bench down on the grass. Our Safari tents are dog-friendly and allow up to 3 dogs, however the decking area is not gated.

Bell Tent
This bell tent at Sandyholme Holiday Park is a large circular tent, 5 metres in diameter. It has a unique shape with a high roof and 2 doors for great ventilation. The tent is spacious and sleeps up to 4 people with a double bed and 2 single camp beds. There are plug sockets, lighting and a heater as well as a picnic bench outside on the grass. As this is a tent, warm clothing and blankets may be required on cold nights. Up to 3 dogs are welcome in the bell tent, however charges do apply.

- Each glamping unit has 1 allocated parking space
- Duvets and pillows are provided
- Ben linen can be hired for an additional charge, but beds will not be made up for you
- Please bring towels, tea towels and swimming towels
- High chairs and cots are available to pre-book – charges apply
- A deposit of ÂŁ100 per booking per week is required at the time of booking
- The remaining balance is due 10 weeks before the arrival date
- If it is less than 10 weeks until the arrival date, the full amount is required upfront at the time of booking
- Bonfires are not permitted anywhere on the park and BBQs must be raised off the grass using bricks provided.
- These glamping tents do not have their own bathroom facilities - guests will need to use the nearby facility blocks
- Arrive on a Monday or Friday
- Wifi is complimentary for all guests at Sandyholme
