Sandyholme has a fantastic location in the Dorset countryside, surrounded by winding streams, footpaths, nature reserves and it’s just 5 miles from Ringstead Bay and Osmington on the Jurassic Coast and 7 miles to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.

Sandyholme has close to 40 pitches available for seasonal touring caravans, each of which are a level gravel pitch with a 16 amp electric hook-up. All of the pitches are a short walk from the toilet and shower block with facilities including hot showers, toilets, washing up sinks, a laundry room, hairdryers and a freezer for ice blocks. There are tap points, waste water drains and a chemical disposal point on the park.
The park is part of the family-run West Dorset Leisure Holidays, one of 5 holiday parks and the only WDLH park offering seasonal touring pitches. The park is popular with visitors for its peace, tranquility and nature. The park’s located around 1 mile from the village of Owermoigne, down a country lane.
You enter the park down a long driveway, past the children’s playing field, play park and the wildlife lake, before reaching the Park Reception. There is a gravel picnic areas with wildflowers and benches, overlooking the adjoining meadow. Continue through the safety barrier onto the main park and there are around 60 caravan holiday homes for private owners and 4 available for hire, as well as 5 electric grass pitches for hire, the close to 40 seasonal pitches and an adjoining meadow suitable for camping and campervans.
The park is dog friendly and great for walkers, with a circular nature trail from the park past the Tadnoll Brook and woods. It’s a short walk from the park to Tadnoll Nature Reserve and a short drive to other pretty nearby spots including Moreton Ford and Puddletown Forest, as well as nearby attractions like The Tank Museum, Monkey World and Lulworth Castle.
