Sandyholme is set in a beautiful location in the Dorset countryside, perfect for a relaxing break or to get out and explore the best the Jurassic Coast has to offer. The park can be found near the village of Owermoigne, close to rivers, forests, footpaths and cycling trails. The park holds a David Bellamy Conservation Gold Award for our work with nature and the environment and the park is a great place to get close to nature.
The Jurassic Coast at Ringstead Bay and Osmington Mills is only 5 miles away and it is just 7 miles to 2 of Dorset’s most iconic landmarks – Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
The Holiday Parks are now open and we are taking all bookings, including camping. The only facilities that remain closed are the Leisure Club and Soft Play at Highlands End Holiday Park. Any questions, please read our pre-arrival information.
The park is part of the family-managed West Dorset Leisure Holidays and is run by friendly wardens who love the park for its peace and tranquility. As you enter the park down a long tree-lined driveway, you will pass a wildlife lake with ducks, a playing field and children’s play area before coming to the park reception with a small shop and a picnic area alongside it with wildflowers, bee houses and views over the adjoining fields and meadows.
There are caravan holiday homes for sale and hire around the outside of the park and the grass pitches are located in the centre of the park closest to the toilet and shower block. Facilities include water points, waste water drains and a chemical disposal point and in the shower block there are hot showers, toilets, washing up sinks, a laundry room, visitor information, free hairdryers and a freezer for ice blocks. From the park, you can walk down through the camping meadow to the Tadnoll Brook River where you are likely to see dragonflies, deer and other animals. Dogs are welcome (max of 2 per booking and charges apply).
Please note we do not allocate pitches – pitches are chosen upon arrival

The wildlife is stunning, we were visited by the ducks on a regular basis which was lovely. Our visit was very enjoyable and we will definitely be back in the future!

This is simply our favorite touring park along the south coast. The location couldn't be better with views to die for and an abundance of fresh sea air. The park is spic and span and extremely well kept with very friendly staff.

This is by far the best Holiday Park I have been to. The views are breath taking with easy access to the beach and nice coastal walks to West Bay. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunning location, then this is the place to come.

Golden Cap is a little bit of heaven. The views are awesome, right next to the sea. It's all relaxed and low key just how we like it.

An excellent Park as a base to visit the Dorset coast, Jurassic Coast, Chesil Beach, Lyme Regis, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, to name a few.

10 out of 10 is not enough for this Holiday Park. We have been here 3 times and we love it more and more every time. The park has all you need, with some pitches overlooking the sea and a great restaurant.
