Athelhampton is one of Englands finest Tudor Manor Houses and a superb visitor attraction in Dorset. Step back in time and explore the historic house with its Great Hall (built in 1485), an outstanding collection of English furniture from Jacobean to Victoria and a gallery showing artwork by the Russian artist Marevna. The stunning architectural gardens were build in 1891 and are full of exquisite planting and a recurring water theme throughout and the famous yew pyramids.

The House & Gardens are open from March to October, with limited opening between November and March. You can enjoy an afternoon tea, morning coffee or lunch at the Coach House Restaurant, or a delicious meal and drink at the Martyrs Inn. There is also a gift shop located within the visitor centre, with a range of gifts and souvenirs to remember your visit.  There are a range of events throughout the year including plant sales, flower festivals, classic car days and outdoor theatre.
