Golden Cap Holiday Park, located in a beautiful Dorset valley on the Jurassic Coast, is a perfect location for a glamping holiday. Surrounded by 2,000 acres of National Trust land and the surrounding clifftops with amazing views, there are plenty of footpaths and trails to explore. The South West Coast Path runs past the path, with nearby walks to the clifftops and viewpoints of Golden Cap and Thorncombe Beacon. There are 3 excellent pubs within walking distance and just a 5 minute walk from your pod is the beach of Seatown on the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
The 6 Jurassic Escape Pods on the park are modern, stylish and have everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors. Alongside all the home comforts you could want including heating, a kitchen, a shower room with WC and a gated decking area. These sleep up to 4 people and enjoy lovely countryside views and even a glimpse of the sea! Also on the park, there is a park reception, park shop, fishing lake, picnic area and children’s play area.

Jurassic Escape Pods
The 6 Jurassic Escape Pods are an exciting luxurious glamping accommodation, with a modern style, a shower room and 1 double bed & 2 single beds, sleeping up to 4 people.
There is an open-plan feel with a bright and airy living space, plus a fully glass front with french doors onto an integrated and covered veranda with decking area and outdoor furniture, perfect for al-fresco dining, evening drinks and for enjoying the views of the surrounding countryside and partial sea views.
There is a comfortable L shaped sofa, bluetooth speakers, an electric fire and wall mounted TV and a kitchen area with microwave, oven, grill and 4 ring hob, an under-counter fridge, kettle and sink. The rear dining area transforms at night with a wall mounted pull-down double bed and above the dining area is a high level fixed mezzanine floor with 2 single beds and ladder access. Please note this may not be suitable for very young children. There are plug sockets and USB sockets.
The generous washroom includes a large shower, heated towel rail, toilet and sink with shaver socket. Up to 3 dogs are welcoming in select dog-friendly Jurassic Escape Pods and each Pod has allocated parking next to it for 1 car.

- Each glamping unit has 1 allocated parking space
- Duvets and pillows are provided
- Ben linen can be hired for an additional charge, but beds will not be made up for you
- Please bring towels, tea towels and swimming towels
- High chairs and cots are available to pre-book – charges apply
- A deposit of ÂŁ100 per booking per week is required at the time of booking
- The remaining balance is due 10 weeks before the arrival date
- If it is less than 10 weeks until the arrival date, the full amount is required upfront at the time of booking
- Bonfires are not permitted anywhere on the park and BBQs must be raised off the grass using bricks provided.
- Arrive on a Monday or Friday
- Guests have access to the facilities at Highlands End such as the Leisure Club and the Little Fire Station Soft Play, however charges do apply
- Wifi is available for a small charge
- Select pods are dog-friendly and allow up to 3 dogs - charges apply

Golden Cap Holiday Park has a number of facilities including a children’s play area, fishing lake, nature trail and SPAR convenience store.
Guests at all West Dorset Leisure Holiday’s parks are welcome to use the facilities at nearby Highlands End Holiday Park (3.6 mile drive), which includes Highlands End Leisure Club with swimming pool, sauna and steam room, Dorset Foot Golf, children’s soft play, nature trail and the dog friendly Martin’s Bar & Restaurant with sunday carvery, live sport, events, Costa Coffee and more. Please note charges apply for many of these facilities.

As a family-run and dog loving company, we understand how important it is to be able to bring your dogs with you on holiday and many of our glamping pods welcome dogs. All of our Holiday Parks are ideal for dog owners, with the South West Coast Path running past both parks and their coastal location. All our parks have enclosed dog exercising fields for walks off the lead and Martin’s Bar & Restaurant at Highlands End is dog friendly. Many beaches in Dorset are dog friendly all year round, including Eype Beach, Ringstead Bay, Durdle Door and parts of West Bay and Lyme Regis. It is worth noting that Seatown Beach does not allow dogs between May and September, but there are a huge range of footpaths criss crossing the park, covering the surrounding 2,000 acres of National Trust land. A maximum of 3 dogs per booking are allowed and charges do apply.
