Winter breaks
Dorset is truly amazing in the winter and our Lodges are perfect for enjoying a winter break in Dorset. We have Lodges available all year round (as well as Apartments and Bungalows at Highlands End Holiday Park) and this includes Christmas and New Year.
Yes the Jurassic Coast is spectacular in the summer sun, but it’s even more spectacular in the winter! Explore the coastline with exhilarating coastal walks (Dorset has over 3,000 miles of footpath). Storm watching, fossil hunting and stargazing are just some of the activities you can enjoy.
Visit your favourite attractions, beaches and places to eat without the crowds (visit our Holiday Planner to choose where to go) and enjoy empty roads and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Dog friendly lodge holidays
We have a number of allocated dog friendly Lodges at Golden Cap Holiday Park and the Jurassic Coast is the perfect place to bring your dog on holiday. All of the dog friendly Lodges have a dog bed and a gated decking area. On the park, there is a designated dog exercising meadow and the SPAR shop sells dog products.
Seatown Beach is a stone’s throw from the Lodges on the park and is dog friendly between November and April. The South West Coast Path runs right past, with great walks to the clifftops of Golden Cap and Thorncombe Beacon.
A maximum of 3 dogs per booking are allowed and charges apply.
