Glamping at Highlands End

Go glamping in Dorset

Enjoy the great outdoors but with a few home comforts and a little luxury with our Premier Camping Pods at the 5 star Highlands End Holiday Park! By trying glamping in Dorset, you do not need to brave the famously unreliable British weather and you can avoid the hassle of putting up a tent or having to pack everything to bring with you!

Outside the uniquely shaped and very popular Premier Camping Pods, you have a private decking area with steps and a gate, a storage box, table and chairs, plus a picnic bench on the grass. Inside the pod, there are blinds for privacy, a fold down table with stools, a double bed, a double sofabed (for children), a wardrobe, heater, lighting, plugs, usb sockets and even a kitchenette with small fridge, toaster, kettle, 2 ring hob and cooking equipment!

Why should you go glamping in Dorset?

  • Sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children
  • Great for couples and young families
  • Unique and cosy
  • Lighting, heating & plug sockets
  • Explore the Jurassic Coast
  • Double bed & double sofabed
  • Decking with seating & views
  • Kitchenette with cooking equipment
  • Dog friendly (max of 1)
  • Short breaks available
  • Opening dates – 15 Mar to 03 Nov

Each pod is named after a local viewpoint or location, with a fantastic photo print from that place covering the whole back wall of the pod for added decoration. While there is no bathroom in the pods, toilets and showers are available at the nearby facilities, alongside hair dryers, a laundry room, a freezer for ice blocks and more. The pods have secure locakable doors on the front.

The pods are located close to the coast, with great views over the West Dorset countryside. They are just a few minutes walk from the main facilities on the park, including the Park Shop, Park Reception, Martin’s Bar & Restaurant, Highlands End Leisure Club (charges apply) and the Little Fire Station Soft Play (charges apply). The South West Coast Path is just metres from the pods, with beautiful walks to Eype Beach (5-10 mins) and West Bay (10-15 mins). There is a children’s adventure playground a short distance from the pods, as well as a recreation area and an enclosed 3.5 acre dog exercising area.
