Enjoy the great outdoors but with a few home comforts and a little luxury with our Premier Camping Pods at the 5 star Highlands End Holiday Park! By trying glamping in Dorset, you do not need to brave the famously unreliable British weather and you can avoid the hassle of putting up a tent or having to pack everything to bring with you!
Outside the uniquely shaped and very popular Premier Camping Pods, you have a private decking area with steps and a gate, a storage box and a picnic bench. Inside the pod, there are blinds for privacy, a fold down table with stools, a double bed, a double sofabed (for children), a wardrobe, heater, lighting, plugs, usb sockets and even a kitchenette with small fridge, toaster, kettle, 2 ring hob and cooking equipment!
Each pod is named after a local viewpoint or location, with a fantastic photo print from that place covering the whole back wall of the pod for added decoration. While there is no bathroom in the pods, toilets and showers are available at the nearby facilities, alongside an Easy Be Dishwasher, washing up sinks, hair dryers, a laundry room, a freezer for ice blocks and more. The pods have secure locakable doors on the front.
The pods are located close to the coast, with great views over the West Dorset countryside. They are just a few minutes walk from the main facilities on the park, including the Park Shop, Park Reception, Martin’s Bar & Restaurant, Highlands End Leisure Club (charges apply) and the Little Fire Station Soft Play (charges apply). The South West Coast Path is just metres from the pods, with beautiful walks to Eype Beach (5-10 mins) and West Bay (10-15 mins). There is a children’s adventure playground a short distance from the pods, as well as a recreation area and an enclosed 3.5 acre dog exercising meadow.
Guests at all West Dorset Leisure Holiday’s parks are welcome to use the facilities at Highlands End Holiday Park, which includes Highlands End Leisure Club with swimming pool, sauna and steam room, pitch ‘n’ putt course, children’s soft play, nature trail and the dog friendly Martin’s Bar & Restaurant with sunday carvery, live sport, events, Costa Coffee and more. Please note charges apply for many of these facilities.
