Enjoy live 360 degree views around the harbour village of West Bay, formerly known as Bridport Harbour, thanks to Dorset Council. This webcam shows views from the promenade, piers, harbour and even onto the beach and clifftop. This is a great webcam to look at on a summer’s day and especially during stormy winter weather when the waves are crashing over the sea walls.
West Bay offers a great range of things to see and do during a day out from one of our parks, including crabbing from the harbour wall, sunbathing on east beach, a walk around the harbour and lunch at one of the many kiosks, pubs, cafes or restaurants. Watch House Cafe, Rise, The George Inn and the West Bay are some of our favourites, followed by an ice cream at Baboo Gelato! Activities and things to do include West Bay Canoes, Lyme Bay RIB Charter, Bay Paddleboarding and West Bay Discovery Centre.
For a day visit, West Bay is located around 1 mile south from the market town of Bridport, just off the A35, the main road through Dorset so it is easily accessible. There is a choice of car parks and facilities in the area.
Holiday at West Bay
Our Highlands End Holiday Park is located just 1 mile from West Bay and the South West Coast Path runs right past the park from the clifftop and down into West Bay so it’s just a 15-20 minute walk from the accommodation, which includes luxury lodges, caravan holiday homes, apartments, glamping pods and pitches for touring and camping. Facilities on the park include a Bar & Restaurant, a Leisure Club, a Pitch ‘n’ Putt Course, a Nature Trail and a unique fire engine display.
