West Bay Harbour Webcam

Enjoy live 360 degree views around the harbour village of West Bay, formerly known as Bridport Harbour, thanks to Dorset Council. This webcam shows views from the promenade, piers, harbour and even onto the beach and clifftop. This is a great webcam to look at on a summer’s day and especially during stormy winter weather when the waves are crashing over the sea walls.

West Bay offers a great range of things to see and do during a day out from one of our parks, including crabbing from the harbour wall, sunbathing on east beach, a walk around the harbour and lunch at one of the many kiosks, pubs, cafes or restaurants. Watch House Cafe, Rise, The George Inn and the West Bay are some of our favourites, followed by an ice cream at Baboo Gelato! Activities and things to do include West Bay Canoes, Lyme Bay RIB Charter, Bay Paddleboarding and West Bay Discovery Centre.

For a day visit, West Bay is located around 1 mile south from the market town of Bridport, just off the A35, the main road through Dorset so it is easily accessible. There is a choice of car parks and facilities in the area.

Watch the hustle and bustle of the harbour and beach activity at West Bay. See the fishermen return with the morning's catch, and the visitors enjoying walks along the promenade.
