Rise is a relaxed and informal cafe bar, situated right on the river Brit in the heart of West Bay. There is a laid back vibe with a mix of woods, plants and ethnic soft furnishings and fantastic views through the huge glass windows out onto the water. The open kitchen brings the chefs into the restaurant which is a key feature and loved by customers. Dogs are welcome and there are USB points scattered around, with live music and DJs on some weekend evenings. There is a log burner for cosy winter evenings.

Outside there is a large raised decking with festoon lighting and a glass balustrade to make the most of the sunny spot protected from the sea breeze. Ran by the family that started the chain of Stable Restaurant, originating in Bridport, signature dishes include local fish, burgers, ribs, chicken wings, lobster and chips, as well as a range of vegan and gluten-free options. There is a great range of unusual beers, lagers, ciders and cocktails from the bar.

  • The Most Magical Campsite

We have just come back from the most magical few days staying at Highlands End. In fact, it was so good we extended our stay by a few days whilst on park. We are new to campsites and this was beyond my expectations

  • Wonderful three night stay

Our pitch was spacious and quiet. The facilities were clean and a generous number of showers etc whatever time we needed them. A very picturesque site and plenty to do straight from the van without the need to drive

  • Beautiful weekend away

This park is in a wonderful location. The local village is beautiful and only a 15 min walk along the river. The beach is then another 15 minutes along - again a beautiful walk. We were blessed with amazing weather so we spent the afternoon on Hive Beach.

  • Perfect Site, A Complete Gem!

It's always a bit of gamble going somewhere new, but Eype House Caravan park did not disappoint. Quite the opposite, it exceed all our expectations and we completely fell in love with the place.
