The area surrounding Graston Copse Holiday Park is stunning and great for walkers and nature lovers, looking for a laid back and relaxed holiday. The pretty village of Burton Bradstock is just a 15 minute riverside walk from Graston Copse Holiday Park, with a spectacular beach and a range of great places to eat, many of which welcome dogs. In the village you can choose from The Three Horseshoes – a family friendly village pub with a warm and friendly environment, and The Anchor Inn with high quality local dishes and seafood.
The National Trust Hive Beach is just a 20-25 minute walk from the park with it’s impressive golden cliffs and spectacular walks. Here you will find the award-winning Hive Beach Cafe and the clifftop Seaside Boarding House with its terrace and cocktail bar. This is the perfect location for a bracing dip in the sea, storm watching, walking and enjoying sea fishing opportunities and miles of unspoilt beach. There are some great annual events nearby including the Spring Tide Food Festival, 2 village Fetes, a Folk Festival, Music and Arts Festival and the Burton Bradstock Duck Race.
Within a few minutes drive of the park, you can discover the fishing village of West Bay (the set of ITV’s drama Broadchurch) and the market town of Bridport with its arts and antiques scene. Venture east and you will find Vurlands Animal Farm, the spectacular Jurassic Coast Road to Weymouth (named one of the 50 best drives in the UK) and the village of Abbotsbury with its swannery, sub-tropical gardens, tearooms and art galleries. Catch the Jurassic Coaster bus from the village to visit many locations along the Jurassic Coast.
