Vurlands Animal Farm

Vurlands Animal Farm and the Eggcup Tearooms are a family-run business located along the Jurassic Coast Road between Burton Bradstock and Abbotsbury. Spread over 20 acres, you can enjoy a walk with beautiful views of the Bride Valley, while encountering a wonderful variety of animals. There’s also a children’s play area, a willow maze and picnic areas.

Animals include rabbits, chipmunks, guinea pigs, turkeys, ducks, chickens, guinea fowl, budgies, donkeys, alpacas, sheep, goats, pigs, and a wallaby. A popular part of the day is pig racing, feeding the animals and the bouncy castle (weather permitting). There is also an indoor inflatable, play area and indoor seating.

The Eggcup Tearoom provides good quality, home cooked produce, with produce from the farm. This includes salad, vegetables, potatoes, eggs and pork. They offer breakfast, lunch and morning/afternoon teas, cakes, scones and more. The Farm and Tearoom are open Tuesday to Sunday from October to Easter and daily from Easter to October, generally from 8:30am until 4pm.
