Pitch up in the heart of the beautiful Bride Valley close to the village of Burton Bradstock. Graston Copse has a range of electric and non-electric grass pitches to choose from, in landscaped surroundings next to the River Bride. There is an additional non-electric meadow with pitches available in peak season.
The pitches are spacious and dogs are welcome with all bookings (max of 2). Prices per night vary depending upon the time of year and there is an enclosed dog exercising meadow for exercising dogs off the leads. There is also a scenic riverside walk and a woodland walk, awash with bluebells in the spring. Use of the toilet and shower facilities is included, with a laundry room (charges apply), washing up sinks and free hairdryers.
Graston Copse is a small and peaceful holiday park, surrounded by countryside and farmland. Graston Copse is a superb location for stargazing. Due to the very little light pollution in this area of the country, on clear nights from March to October, you can see the milkyway with your own eyes! There is a great focus on nature at Graston Copse, so much so that the park has received the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. See if you can find our bug hotel in the woods and our bee hives near the river! There is a small Park Reception with further facilities available nearby in the village.
It is a 15 minute walk along the river to reach the pretty village of Burton Bradstock with its village pubs, farm shop / post office, convenience store, library and village green. A further 10 minutes south and you will reach Hive Beach with its award-winning cafe, the Seaside Boarding House Restaurant and Bar and the South West Coast Path. The market town of Bridport and the fishing village of West Bay are within easy driving distance of the park, as well as the spectacular ‘Jurassic Coast Road’ to the village of Abbotsbury with its family attractions, galleries and tearooms. Close to the park, you will also find Modbury Farm Shop, a petrol station in the village, bus stops within walking distance and a choice of 4 supermarkets in nearby Bridport.
