Stay in a top-of-the-range Deluxe Caravan at Golden Cap Holiday Park! The Deluxe Caravans enjoy the prime locations on the park with some of the best views out across Seatown Beach to the sea and over the surrounding hillsides and countryside.
All of the Deluxe Caravans were introduced in 2020 and are even more spacious and luxurious. They include complimentary wifi and passes for Highlands End Leisure Club, which is located at nearby Highlands End Holiday Park (3.6 miles drive or 1 to 1.5 hour coastal walk). The new Deluxe Caravans are a great way to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Dorset with some extra luxuries thrown in!
The Holiday Parks are open, with the only facility remaining closed being the Little Fire Station Soft Play at Highlands End Holiday Park. We have a number of measures in place to provide a safe holiday in Dorset. For more information, please see our pre-arrival information.
Each Deluxe Caravan has doors out onto a spacious private decking area with outdoor seating, to make the most of the views and al fresco dining. Inside, there is a fully fitted kitchen with integrated fridge/freezer, oven, grill and hob, microwave and more. In the open-plan living area there is L shaped wraparound seating, an electric fire and a large TV. There is a choice of 2 or 3 bedroom Deluxe Caravans, all with an en-suite WC from the double bedroom. Dogs are welcome in designated Deluxe Caravans (max of 2, charges apply). Each Deluxe Caravan has a designated parking space.
They are all located close to the main facilities on the park, including the Park Reception and Shop with a Pizza Takeaway, a children’s play area and a fishing lake. There are 3 excellent pubs within walking distance, the Anchor Inn on Seatown Beach and the Clockhouse and George both in the village of Chideock which is a 15 minute walk along footpaths.
The seaside village of Charmouth is just a few miles away, with great places to visit along the way including Felicity’s Farm Shop, Annie’s Tearoom and Moores Biscuits. At Charmouth you will find the Coast Heritage Centre with it’s displays, fossil shop and guided walks and fossil hunting trips along one of the best beaches anywhere in the world for fossil hunting. The town of Lyme Regis, known as the ‘pearl of Dorset’ is just a couple of miles further along the coast. It’s a bustling resort with independent shops, great places to eat, beautiful gardens, a harbour and attractions. These include an aquarium, Lyme Regis Museum and the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum.
Guests at all West Dorset Leisure Holiday’s parks are welcome to use the facilities at nearby Highlands End Holiday Park (3.6 mile drive), which includes Highlands End Leisure Club with swimming pool, sauna and steam room, pitch ‘n’ putt course, children’s soft play, nature trail and the dog friendly Martin’s Bar & Restaurant with sunday carvery, live sport, events, Costa Coffee and more. Complimentary passes are provided for Highlands End Leisure Club with all deluxe caravan bookings, but please note charges apply for some other facilities.
