Eype House

Perched on the cliffside with fantastic sunrise views over the Jurassic Coast, you’ll find Eype House Holiday Park, the newest member of the West Dorset Leisure Holidays group, having joined the family in 2022. The park is just a two minute walk from Eype Beach, which is dog-friendly all year round, and the South West Coast Path runs right past the camping field and leads you up to Thorncombe Beacon and Eype Down. The village of Eype itself is a small, off-the-beaten track village, with winding lanes and some great places to eat including The New Inn, Smuggler’s Bar and Down House Farm Cafe.

Eype House is a quiet and simple park, with a range of caravans for hire. Further up the cliff, there are two glamping pods and terraced pitches for tents and small motorhomes or campervans. The pitches and pods all come with excellent sea views and many of the caravans do too. Due to the narrow access lane, the park is not suitable for large motorhomes over 6m, touring caravans or trailer tents.

Why choose Eype House?

Next door to Eype House is Highlands End, another of our holiday parks, with facilities including a SPAR convenience store, Martin’s Bar & Restaurant, Highlands End Leisure Club with swimming pool, sauna and steam room, Shepherd’s Down Pitch ‘n’ Putt, The Little Fire Station Soft Play and more. Guests staying at all of our parks have access to these award-winning facilities, however charges do apply for some. There is ample parking at Highlands End, but we recommend walking the 10-15 minute journey up the footpath if possible or taking the scenic route via the Coast Path to the end of the park.

Eype House Virtual Tour

We weren’t kidding when we said all the camping pitches have sea views – click through this virtual tour to see for yourself! Please note, this virtual tour is from 2018 and parts of the park have been updated and improved since it was made, including the addition of our Solar Pod. You can also see just how close Highlands End Holiday Park is, and how easy it is to walk to the additional facilities there.
