Mower’s Mead Wildlife Lake
Mower’s Mead Wildlife Lake and Big Moor Wood are part of the Highlands End Nature Trail and situated in the surrounding farmland next to Highlands End Holiday Park. New paths were installed in 2026, alongside significant tree planting and a bird hide and there are a number of benches to sit and enjoy this haven of nature and tranquility.
Mower’s Mead Wildlife Lake can also be reached on our Tramper Off-Road Electric Mobility Scooter, which is available to hire at Highlands End Park Reception / SPAR.
Dogs are welcome on the trails, but please keep them on leads, especially around livestock you may pass on your walk to the park and do not allow them into the water. Thank you.
