A Day in Chideock & Seatown
There’s plenty you can do while staying local to Golden Cap. Walk (or drive) through the village to Chideock Manor Gardens and explore the stunning grounds of this manor house. Nearby you’ll also find The Dorset Bee, where you can learn all about and experience beekeeping and making honey. They also serve tasty lunches from their Cottage Garden, where you’ll be accompanied by chickens, cats and neighbouring donkeys, sheep, horses and goats. If you prefer a pub lunch, try The Clock House or The George Inn along the main street of Chideock itself. Head back to the park, via the SPAR in Chideock where you can buy tasty local produce to cook a meal or BBQ in the evening. Leave your food in your accommodation and spend the rest of the day enjoying the beach at Seatown if the weather is nice enough.
