The West Dorset Three Peaks Challenge
The ultimate challenge for holidaymakers looking to see the Jurassic Coast and tackle some hills in the process. The 9.3 mile route will take you on a tour of Colmer’s Hill, Thorncombe Beacon and Golden Cap, the highest point on the South coast of England. You can start the route from Highlands End, Eype Beach or Golden Cap Holiday Parks, or at any other point on the circular route that suits you. There are some great opportunities for lunch partway round or a well-deserved drink at the end, including The Ilchester Arms (Symmondsbury), Martin’s Bar & Restaurant (Eype), or the Anchor Inn (Seatown). If you want to make it onto our online leaderboard, time your walk and send a screenshot along with some photos to marketing@wdlh.co.uk.
