A Day in Chideock & Seatown
Seatown and Chideock might be small villages, but there’s plenty to do. Visit Chideock Manor Gardens and explore the stunning grounds of this manor house. Nearby you’ll also find The Dorset Bee, where you can learn all about and experience beekeeping and making honey. They also serve tasty lunches from their Cottage Garden, where you’ll be accompanied by chickens, cats and neighbouring donkeys, sheep, horses and goats. If you prefer a pub lunch, try The Clock House or The George Inn along the main street of Chideock itself. If the weather is nice enough, spend the rest of the day enjoying the beach at Seatown, before buying some local produce from the SPAR at Golden Cap or in central Chideock to cook with later.
