Bride Valley Cycle
The Bride Valley is a lovely place for a bike ride – it’s lovely and flat and there’s not too much passing traffic. If you’ve not brought bikes with you on holiday, you can hire them from Bridport Cycle Hire in Symondsbury, however this would work best if you’re able to bring them in your vehicle to park in Burton Bradstock. We recommend stopping at Littlebredy Walled Gardens and exploring the lovely little waterfall and lake. Check the website for opening days beforehand. Or, if you’re feeling ambitious, head further and make the climb up to Hardy’s Monument where you’ll get spectacular views towards Weymouth. On your way back to your car, you could stop at Ford Farm’s shop and pick up some locally-made cheese, or a range of local produce at Modbury Farm Shop where you’ll find lots of tasty things to make your dinner out of.
