A Cultural Day in Dorchester

Start your day with a walk around Maiden Castle, one of the largest and most complex Iron Age hill forts in Europe. During the Summer, you’ll also be able to walk around the Dorset Sunflower Trail which is just next door and provides some great photo opportunities. Head into Dorchester itself and grab some lunch at Brewery Square, which has a range of independent and chain eateries and some great shops. Along the high street you’ll find a number of museums including the Tutenkhamun Exhibition, the Dorset Museum, the Teddy Bear Museum, the Keep Military Museum and the Dinosaur Museum, so there’s something for everyone, no matter what your interests are.
