Golden Cap Webcam

Take in the stunning scenery along the Jurassic Coast from our Golden Cap webcam located on Seatown Beach in Dorset and looking west towards Golden Cap – the highest point on the South Coast of England. On a hot and sunny day you can look out over the beautiful blue water and reminisce about happy holiday memories. Or, if you’re lucky enough to have a future stay booked with us, you can begin the countdown to your upcoming break.

The South West Coast Path leads up to Golden Cap itself, though it’s worth noting that the small section of path seen here is not the Coast Path as it goes slightly inland at this point. This coastal route is an absolute must for intrepid visitors during a holiday in Dorset. Enjoy some of the best scenery in the UK as you walk along the Jurassic Coast. From the elevated clifftop position you can see for miles in every direction. Keen hikers can head out for the entire day and catch the Jurassic Coaster bus back to Chideock. It’s also possible to complete small sections at a leisurely pace or incorporate parts of the official trail into a circular route.
