A Family Friendly Day at Highlands End
The Highlands End Nature Trail is a great activity to do with children – with adaptable route options for longer and shorter walks and a challenge to spot letters on the way round. You’ll visit the wildlife lake, two play areas and numerous fantastic photo locations on your way round. The trail finishes at Martin’s Bar & Restaurant, where you can grab a drink and a bite to eat. If you’ve got children under 6 years old, they can use the Little Fire Station Soft Play area in the restaurant. After lunch the whole family could go for a swim at Highlands End Leisure Club, and the adults can even enjoy the sauna and steam room for some well-earned time to relax. Alternatively there’s the Dorset Foot Golf course, which can keep the whole family occupied for up to an hour and a half.
