Discover Europe’s largest collection of Royal Navy aircraft at the Fleet Air Arm Museum – an award-winning naval aviation museum at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset. This is a great attraction no matter what the weather, great for families and there are immersive experiences and an outdoor play area.

There are more than 100 aircraft on display, including airships, seaplanes, World War II aircraft and the Concorde. Within the collection, there are 21 aircraft types that are totally unique in existence and cannot be seen anywhere else in the world. The Aircraft Carrier Experience is an award-winning attraction within the museum. You’ll ‘fly’ by helicopter to the replica flight deck of the HMS Ark Royal and take a tour round it passing fighter aircraft, the control room, the bridge and a nuclear bomb.

There is a licensed museum cafe, ample free parking and excellent disabled access. With more flights in and out of RNAS Yeovilton than any other military air station in Europe, you’re likely to see aircraft going through their rigorous training procedures.
