Can I hire a travel cot?
Cots are available to hire for lodge, apartment, bungalow and caravan bookings. These must be booked in advance, linen / bedding is not provided, they are subject to availability and there is a charge of £15.00. Cots measure 38″ x 26″.
How long does it take to walk between the parks?
To walk between Golden Cap Holiday Park and Highlands End Holiday Park, it is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours along the coast path with stunning views from Thorncombe Beacon. To walk between Graston Copse Holiday Park and Highlands End Holiday Park it is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours along the coast path via West Bay.
Can anyone use the facilities at Highlands End Holiday Park?
Holidaymakers at any of our Parks are welcome to use the facilities at Highlands End Holiday Park. Entry charges apply for Highlands End Leisure Club (unless staying in a lodge, deluxe caravan, bungalow or apartment), the Little Fire Station Soft Play and the Dorset Foot Golf Course. These facilities are also open to local residents (memberships required for Highlands End Leisure Club).
Is there wifi on the park?
Wifi is available and chargeable on all of our Holiday Parks, except at Sandyholme Holiday Park. In Lodges, Apartments at Highlands End and Golden Cap Holiday Parks, wifi is complimentary.
Our wifi is very restricted due to our rural location and is not for streaming. The service may not be the same as you are used to at home. To purchase wifi, please select the network on your device, then payment can be made by Paypal or debit card. It can be used on 1 device at a time – separate purchases must be made for each person.
This service is only refundable for any full day on which the Park’s wifi service is not accessible by any users on the Park.
Are there launderette facilities on the park?
Graston Copse, Larkfield and Sandyholme Holiday parks have a laundry with coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers.
At Highlands End and Golden Cap, the laundries contain contactless washing machines and tumble driers that can be operated using the Circuit Laundry Plus app available on iOS and Android, or using a debit/credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The apartments at Highlands End have use of a shared washing machine and the lodges at Highlands End and Golden Cap have washing machines, with the exception of the 1 bedroom lodges.
Ironing facilities can be found at Highlands End, Golden Cap and Graston Copse only.
Do you have recycling bins on the park?
Reuse and recycling bays are located on each park and are clearly signed. There are separate bins for mixed recycling, general refuse, glass and cardboard. Please help us reach our target of recycling over 50% of our waste. A full list of what can be recycled is provided at every refuse and recycling bay.
Can I shower my dog?
At Highlands End Holiday Park there is a doggie shower, which is located outside the toilet and shower block in North Rye Acres. See the Park Map for more info.
Does the park have a Bar & Restaurant?
Highlands End is the only one of our parks with a Bar & Restaurant, which is open daily February to November and is dog friendly. Takeaway food or sit-down meals are available here. Martin’s Bar & Restaurant is a 10 minute drive, or 1-2 hour walk from Graston Copse and Golden Cap Holiday Parks.
Is the local beach dog friendly?
There are lots of dog friendly beaches near our Dorset holiday parks.
At Highlands End and Eype Beach Holiday Parks, the closest beach, Eype Beach, is dog friendly all year round and at West Bay there are restrictions on certain beaches at peak times.
At Golden Cap Holiday Park, Seatown Beach allows dogs between 1st October and 30th April, plus there are miles upon miles of coastal path and footpaths to explore on the surrounding 2,000 acres of National Trust land..
At Graston Copse Holiday Park, Burton Beach (1 mile away) has restrictions between 1st May and 30th September on the main stretch of beach, with dogs welcome a few hundred metres to the east towards Cogden Beach.
At Sandyholme Holiday Park, the nearest coast is Ringstead Bay (5 miles away), which is dog friendly all year round.

Are you dog friendly?
Yes, up to 2 dogs are welcome in our allocated dog-friendly accommodation, which includes lodges, caravans and bungalows, as well as camping and touring holidays. Up to 1 dog is allowed with glamping holidays, with the exception of Jurassic Escape Pods at Golden Cap Holiday Park, which allow 2.
Extra charges apply for dogs of £40.00 each per week and £30.00 per dog for short breaks in hire accommodation (half price from 1st November to 28th February). For touring and camping holidays, dogs are charged at £1 each per night in low season and £3 each per night in mid and high season. For glamping holidays, dogs are charged at £25 per dog per week and £15.00 per dog for short breaks.
Does the Bar & Restaurant show sport?
Yes, TNT Sport (formerly BT Sport) is shown at Martin’s Bar & Restaurant at Highlands End Holiday Park. Please note this is subject to change and can be removed at any time.
Are towels included?
Towels are included with lodge, apartment and bungalow bookings. These are for use in the accommodation and cannot be used at Highlands End Leisure Club or taken off park to the beach.
How many cars can I bring?
1 car is included in the price of a touring or camping booking. Extra cars are chargeable and can’t be parked next to your pitch. In lodges, apartments, bungalows and caravans, parking for up to 2 cars is included. With most accommodations, parking is available next to it but for some, you may be required to use the nearest car park.
What is there to do on holiday?

How much does it cost to use Highlands End Leisure Club?
Highlands End Leisure Club costs £4.50 for adults to use the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. £3.25 for 2-17-year-olds and under 2s go free. The lodges at Highlands End and Golden Cap and the apartments and bungalows at Highlands End include complimentary use of Highlands End Leisure Club. All other park guests must pay the entry fees. The sauna and steam room are for over 18s only.
Is there a spectator area at Highlands End Leisure Club?
At Highlands End Leisure Club, there is a very small spectator area. There are tables poolside, which requires you to pay for entry and be wearing a swimming costume. Children under 15 cannot swim unattended and children aged 15 to 18 can only swim unattended when a consent form has been signed at the Leisure Club Reception by a parent or guardian.
Does the Leisure Club have lockers?
Yes, the Highlands End Leisure Club has lockers poolside, which are free for guests to use.
What public transport options are there?
The nearest bus stop to Highlands End Holiday Park and Eype Beach Holiday Park is a 15 – 20 minute walk away in West Bay (X53 service).
The nearest bus stop to Golden Cap Holiday Park is a 10 minute walk away in the village of Chideock (X53 service & X51 service).
The nearest bus stop to Graston Copse Holiday Park is a 15 minute walk away in the village of Burton Bradstock (X53 service).
The nearest bus stop to Sandyholme Holiday Park is a 25 minute walk away in the village of Owermoigne (X54 service). For timetables visit www.firstgroup.com
The nearest train stations to Highlands End, Eype Beach, Golden Cap and Graston Copse are Dorchester or Axminster and the nearest train stations to Sandyholme are Moreton, Dorchester or Wool. Taxis can be booked from your Park Reception and recommended taxi numbers are provided in your welcome pack.
Do you have pitches for RVs
Highlands End, Golden Cap, Graston Copse and Sandyholme holiday parks can accommodate motorhomes and campervans up to 7.5 metres (24.6 feet) long.
At Highlands End Holiday Park, we have some gravel or grass pitches with electric hookup that are suitable for RVs and larger vehicles or up to 10 metres (32.8 feet) long.
You must notify us of the size of your vehicle at the time of booking.
Is there CCTV on the parks?
Yes, there is a 24 hour CCTV that does operate on all the parks at key locations.
Where are dogs allowed on the park?
All of our Holiday Parks are dog friendly and dogs must be on leads at all times when not at your accommodation. With the exception of our Safari Tents, all of our dog friendly accommodation have an enclosed decking.
All parks have designated dog exercising meadows where they can be walked off the lead. At Highlands End Holiday Park, there is a dog shower and Martin’s Bar & Restaurant allows dogs in over half the venue and in the beer garden. The SPAR shops at both Highlands End and Golden Cap Holiday Parks sell dog essentials, such as toys, treats and poo bags.
Can I charge my electric vehicle on-park?
We aim to cater to hybrid and electric vehicle owners wherever possible. Many of parks have electric vehicle charging points, which are available for customer use on a first come, first served basis.

Do I have to pay for showers?
No, at West Dorset Leisure Holidays the toilet and shower blocks are free to use – which includes the use of hairdryers.
How much does it cost to use the Little Fire Station Soft Play?
The Little Fire Station Soft Play costs £3.50 for 2 to 6 year olds and £2.00 for under 2s. There is a height restriction of 130cm and it is open daily from 9am-6pm. For diners between 4pm-6pm, use of the soft play is included free of charge with every child’s meal.
Can I freeze ice packs?
In each of our toilet & shower blocks, there is a freezer available for ice packs. The lodges, caravans, apartments, bungalows, premier camping pods and safari tents all have a freezer inside.
How much does it cost to use Dorset Foot Golf?
The Dorset Foot Golf Course at Highlands End is open to anyone and costs £10.00 for adults and £6 for children. WDLH holidaymakers can save 10% off this price by using the discount code shown in the WDLH app (sign in with booking details required). Balls and scorecards can be collected from the SPAR store.
What do I need to bring with me on holiday?
Essentials – All of our self catering accommodation has a bin bag, toilet roll and dishcloth but you should bring with you tea towels, toilet rolls, bin bags and dishwashing facilities such as washing up liquid.
Irons – Irons and ironing boards are provided in lodges, apartments and bungalows. They are not supplied in caravans but are available for use in the laundry rooms on the Park.
Hairdryers – Hairdryers are provided in the lodges only. For other accommodation, they can be used free of charge in the toilet/shower blocks.
All crockery, cutlery, utensils and cooking equipment are provided in self catering accommodation.

We try to stock as many of the essentials as possible in the Park Shops, particularly in the shops at Highlands End and Golden Cap, which are larger.

Golden Cap Holiday Park

To find us, leave the A35 at the turning to Seatown (Duck Street). Do not take the left hand turn onto Mill Lane (which some navigation systems may suggest), but instead follow the road straight for just over 1km until you reach the park entrance and reception on your left hand side.

Graston Copse Holiday Park
Annings Lane, Burton Bradstock, DT6 4QP
Take the B3157 to Burton Bradstock and turn off at the Anchor Inn towards Shipton Gorge. Follow this road for 200 metres and take the turning on the right onto Annings Lane. Follow this lane for 1km until you reach the park entrance on your right hand side.

Larkfield Holiday Park
Bredy Road, Burton Bradstock, DT6 4ND
Follow the B3157 east through the village of Burton Bradstock. After passing a petrol station and car garage on your right hand side, you will see a turning 200 metres further along on your left hand side, signposted to Litton Cheney and Dorchester. Take this turning onto Bredy Road and the park entrance will be on your right hand side in 100 metres.

Sandyholme Holiday Park
Moreton Road, Owermoigne, DT2 8HZ
Approaching from the south, turn off the A352 at the village of Owermoigne onto Kit Lane. Follow the road through the village and out and after 1.6km you will see the park entrance on the left hand side. Approaching from the north, turn off Warmwell Road in the village of Crossways onto Moreton Road (signposted to Owermoigne). Follow the road for 2.25km until you reach Sandyholme Holiday Park on your right hand side.

Eype Beach Holiday Park
Mount Lane, Eype, Bridport, DT6 6AL
To find us, leave the A35 at the turning to Eype and take the third turning on your right. At the top of the lane, bear right and follow the narrow lane carefully towards the sea – Eype Beach will be on your right approximately 100m before the beach car park.
What are the Leisure Club opening times?
Opening times for the Highlands End Leisure Club are available on the website. You do not need to book a slot to swim.
Do I need to bring bed linen?
For all Lodge, Apartment and Bungalow bookings, duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided and beds are made up for your arrival. Towels for accommodation use are provided, but please bring your own tea towels and towels for swimming / beach use.
In Caravans and Glamping, duvets and pillows are provided, but bed linen is optional and available for an additional charge upon booking. If you wish you bring your own, you can.

Do you provide for guests with accessibility needs?

Do you permit supermarket deliveries?
Yes of course! Please arrange to meet the vehicle at the Park entrance / Reception. At Highlands End and Golden Cap we sell a good selection of essentials at the Spar Shop.
Can I bring a gazebo?
Gazebos and shelters are permitted or not permitted at the park’s discretion and in relation to forecasted weather conditions. Please call ahead of your visit for more info.
Can I hire a highchair?
Highchairs are available to hire for lodge, apartment, bungalow and caravan bookings. These must be booked in advance, they are subject to availability and there is a charge of £15.00.
Can I smoke or vape?
It is illegal to smoke or use e-cigarettes inside enclosed public buildings. Outdoor smoking areas are provided. You must also refrain from smoking or using e-cigarettes in any accommodation, though we cannot guarantee that any accommodation has always been smoke free.
If you are found to be smoking in public buildings or holiday accommodation, you may be charged a £100.00 cleaning fee and asked to leave immediately. No refund for your holiday will be issued.
Can our friends visit us while we are on holiday?
Friends and family are welcome to visit you on the park during the day. Any overnight stays are chargeable and need to be booked.
Do I have to pay extra for gas and electric?
No, there are no additional costs for gas and electric as all gas and electric fees are included with all holidays.
Do you allow barbeques, fire pits, bonfires or fireworks?
Fire Pits using smokeless fuel only are allowed and this fuel is available to purchase in the park shops.
Portable camping BBQs are preferred, however if you must us a disposable one, they must be raised off the ground or holiday accommodation decking using bricks / slabs, which are available on the Parks and safely located in accordance with any instructions we give you.
The use of fireworks and lanterns on the Parks is strictly forbidden. We do not allow any bonfires or generators on the parks, due to the fire risk and noise disturbance for other guests.
What is the speed limit on the parks?
The parks have a speed limit of 10mph, which is strictly enforced. Traffic movements are restricted after 11:00pm to minimise disturbance on the parks. All vehicles must be taxed, insured and have passed MOT regulations. All motoring laws which apply to the highway, also apply on the parks. Please take care and do not drive on the grass during wet weather or the winter period. We do not permit the use of any non-road legal motorised vehicles e.g. mini scooters, quad bikes etc.
Where can I get first aid help or find a defibrillator?
In a medical emergency, please call 999 to get help as soon as possible, and please inform your park reception of the situation when convenient.
If you require non-urgent medical advice, please call 111.

The nearest Minor Injuries Units are at Bridport Hospital (DT6 5DR) and Weymouth Hospital (DT4 7TB).

Do I need to book to swim at Highlands End Leisure Club?
No, there is no need to book a swim session. Just visit the Leisure Club Reception and pay or present your pass upon arrival.It is always worth checking the timetable prior to visiting. This can be found here.
