You certainly won’t be short of things to do during a holiday in Weymouth – there are a wide selection of attractions and activities to keep the whole family entertained. During the summer months you can’t beat a day spent on the beach. Weymouth Bay is sheltered and shallow with a life guard service throughout the peak season, making it an excellent choice for families with young children.
Historic harbour
While away a couple of hours strolling around the historic harbour. Pop into the independent galleries and the wide selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants lining the harbour wall. Eat a portion of fish and chips as you watch the boats come and go. If you’re feeling adventurous, book a boat trip with one of the many operators running trips out into the bay.
