We also have child-friendly nature trails on many parks, perfect for guests that don’t want to venture too far.
All of our accommodation and facilities are clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxing during your walking holiday. Sit back and unwind in our stylish caravans, lodges and glamping accommodation before heading back out on foot.

South West Coast Path
The South West Coast Path is the longest waymarked footpath in England. It stretches from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset and covers a distance of 630 miles. The route is undoubtedly one of the most scenic in the country, incorporating ancient cliffs, historical landmarks, picturesque villages and breath taking views. Few people complete the route in one go, with the majority of walkers favouring shorter day hikes.
Many of our our parks are situated within easy reach of the South West Coast Path allowing you to tackle small sections during your stay. From Highlands End or Golden Cap, you will pick up the trail within moments of leaving the park and can walk to some of the most iconic locations along the Jurassic Coast. You can incorporate this into a circular route, or catch the Jurassic Coaster bus back from various destinations if you get tired!

West Dorset 3 Peaks Challenge
We’ve developed an exciting challenge for keen walkers to take on during a stay at Highlands End or Golden Cap Holiday Park. The West Dorset 3 Peaks incorporates 3 of West Dorset’s highest peaks – Golden Cap, Colmer’s Hill and Thorncombe Beacon and can be enjoyed during a family walk or run. The circular route is 9.3 miles in length, though it can be split into 3 separate walks if you’d prefer to go at a slower pace and take in the scenery. We’ve even got a leader board on the go to foster a bit of friendly competitive spirit!

Nature trails
We encourage guests to explore our scenic grounds during a stay at our award-winning parks. Many of our parks have a nature trail to follow, and hopefully see some wildlife during your stay. These are especially well suited to visitors with young children, who may not be able to walk too far. They vary in length (1.5-3.75 miles) and incorporate a range of points of interest, including wildflower meadows, bug hotels, ponds and more.
Walking holiday accommodation
At the end of a strenuous day of day walking along the Jurassic Coast, you can return to our comfortable accommodation to relax. Enjoy a steaming hot shower in one of our luxury caravans or lodges, before putting your feet up in front of the TV.
Guests staying on one of our camping and touring pitches can freshen up in our modern facility blocks.
Many of our hire accommodation units are dog-friendly, and touring and camping bookings are permitted to bring up to 2 dogs with them on holiday, so if your dogs love walking as much as you do, Dorset is the perfect place to bring them. We’ve even got dedicated off-lead exercising meadows at each of our parks for them to run safely.
