Family friendly, fun and safe, all equipment provided. Nick’s Fishing Trips specialise in welcoming families and groups on boat trips. This is an activity that is suited to all age groups and is particularly good for those who have not been to sea before. They offer a wealth of experience. Nick has been taking people to sea on boat trips  for over 35 years. The boat carries life jackets, a life raft, modern navigation and communication equipment. The skipper is an experienced, trained and licensed seaman.

Boat trips cater for groups of up to 11 passengers and depart from the Cobb (harbour) at Lyme Regis. The boat is available for an affordable private charter speak to Nick about your particular requirements on 07974 796002 call or text.

You can take a one, two or three hour boat trip, join a short boat ride for an hour or a two or three hour fishing trip. If you are new to fishing, Nick’s Fishing Trips offer friendly advice and all equipment including bait is provided.

Throughout the holidays Nick offers a deep sea fishing trip in the mornings 9-12 noon, aimed at families and people new to fishing, all done in an easygoing family friendly way. You can book as an individual or private charter for your family or group. Rods, tackle and bait are provided.

Sightseeing trips also offer the opportunity to fish for mackerel as you motor along. Sightseeing trips are accompanied by an informal friendly encounter with your local skipper who will share their knowledge of the Jurassic coast, Lyme Bay, fishing and boating, in an easygoing way. Sightseeing / fishing trips happen every day during holidays, weather permitting.

People often ask about dolphins, porpoises, whales and other marine life. Lyme Bay is blessed with an increasing diversity of wildlife. Recently blue fin tuna have appeared and every now and then we encounter large fish and mammals but we can’t promise any of these, it’s just a bonus every now and again.
