Nestled in 26 acres of glorious Dorset countryside, you will find Sculpture by the Lakes, an oasis for art lovers and collectors and close to our Sandyholme Holiday Park. Created by renowned sculptor Simon Gudgeon and his wife Monique, their vision was to create an environment for enthusiasts that blends inspiring works of art with nature’s beauty. The sculpture park has been carefully landscaped and curated to ensure each piece is positioned to enhance its aesthetic qualities as well as the visual surroundings.

The Gallery Cafe offers visitors a relaxed and cost setting to enjoy a freshly prepared, seasonal menu, much of which is sourced from their very own kitchen garden. There is a delicious array of homemade cakes, tea, coffee and wine beer and cider. There are events including All About The Garden (a 3 day horticultural extravaganza), a Summer Festival (with food, arts and crafts) and workshops and talks.

Please note due to deep fast flowing water, Sculpture by the Lakes has a no children under 14 and no dogs policy. It is open Wednesday to Sunday and an entry fee applies.

  • 5 out of 5 isn't enough!

This is simply our favorite touring park along the south coast. The location couldn't be better with views to die for and an abundance of fresh sea air. The park is spic and span and extremely well kept with very friendly staff.

  • Fantastic Park

10 out of 10 is not enough for this Holiday Park. We have been here 3 times and we love it more and more every time. The park has all you need, with some pitches overlooking the sea and a great restaurant.
