Electric Vehicle Charging

In 2024, we welcomed over 1,400 EVs and hybrids owners to our holiday parks. We currently have 33 chargers across 5 parks, which we recently expanded from 15 chargers in late 2024.

How to Use

To use a charger when you are on-park, just download the Wattif App on Google Play of the App Store and make sure you have your own cable with you. Our previous chargers used the Monta app, so if you have an account with money left on it, you can request this to be refunded to your bank account via the Monta app.

Cost

The price across all chargers on our parks are ÂŁ0.68 per kWh and we will continue to monitor costs and change this when possible.

Issues

Each Ev charger has own instructions how to navigate the use displayed, and Wattif will directly respond to any enquiries, or reports of any faults, on their helpline +44(0) 8000487907 (also displayed on each charger).

Chargers on the Parks

We are working on plans to introduce more chargers across our parks in 2025 and beyond.

Eype Beach Holiday Park

There is currently no charging point at Eype Beach Holiday Park, however visitors are welcome to use the chargers at nearby Highlands End Holiday Park (0.8 mile drive).

Terms & Conditions

  • Please do not park in the designated charging bays, if not using the chargers.
  • Please return to your vehicle as soon as it is charged.

Charging at your accommodation

Charging from a plug socket in your accommodation is strictly forbidden. There are several potential fire risks, the risk of tripping the electric in an area of the park that doesn’t have the capacity for this and the trip hazard that cables could present.

Chargers in the local area

Faster chargers are available in the local area, like the 100kW chargers at Bridport Leisure Centre, 50kW chargers at East Street Car Park in Bridport and at Chideock Spar, as well as a 120kW charger in Dorchester – a few miles from Sandyholme Holiday Park.

The best place to check locations, charging speed, prices and availability is on Zap Map or A Better Route Planner.
