Why 2026 is the Perfect Time to Buy a Holiday Home in Dorset

A Longer Season to Spend in Dorset

One of the biggest changes we’ve just announced is our extended Holiday Season.

Starting from 2027, the majority of our Holiday Homes will benefit from a 9.5 month season, as we’ll be opening earlier to include the February half term. This extra time is perfect for family visits, cosy coastal walks and making the most of quieter times of the year.

Select luxury lodges will remain on a 10.5 month season, giving those owners even more time in their favourite place with their loved ones, including over Christmas and New Year.

Whether you’re looking for spring weekends, family summer holidays or refreshing autumn walks, Dorset is a wonderful place to be at all times of the year.

Longer Licences for Greater Peace of Mind

We’ve also recently extended the licence period for all new caravans. This is the length of time a holiday home can remain on the Park.

All new caravans now come with a 20 year licence. This length licence period is above the industry average and offers long-term reassurance and better value for money. You can feel safe in the knowledge that you and your family can enjoy your investment for many years to come.

Pre-owned holiday homes come with varying remaining licence periods, depending on their original purchase date.

Bring the Whole Family… Including the Dogs

We know that dogs are part of the family, which is why all our Parks have always been proudly dog-friendly.

At the end of 2025, we relaxed our dog number limits, meaning you can now bring up to three dogs with you on holiday.

With miles of nearby coast path, dog-friendly beaches and countryside walks on your doorstep, it’s the perfect setting for wagging tails and muddy paws.
