Artists of The Jurassic Coast

Artists of the Jurassic Coast return to Eype Centre for the Arts in September promising a wonderful exhibition which will run for three weeks.

Joining organisers Charlotte Miller, Marion Taylor and John Boyd will be returning sculptural artist Colleen Du Pont whose ornamental and functional ironwork looks striking within the setting of this magnificent venue.

Also present will be Moira Baumbach, a visual artist who often focuses on environmental issues producing lino prints and paintings and Richard Corbett who celebrates nature within his land and seascape paintings. In addition, Emma Worster will display her beautiful ceramics both tableware and ornamental, she also shows intricately weaved baskets and lampshades.

Marion Taylor, John Boyd and Charlotte Miller have exhibited at Eype Centre for the Arts for many years. John is well known for his land and seascape paintings, his atmospheric work capturing light and mood. Marion Taylor produces paintings, collage and fine ceramics often representative of  the local landscape and her love of nature. Finally Charlotte Miller’s semi abstract paintings are often reminiscent of the landscape and cliff paths near her home and studio in West Dorset.
