Weymouth Pavilion
This place is not usually open now.
Weymouth Pavilion is conveniently situated at the end of the Esplanade next to Weymouth’s award-winning beach! The venue is open every day all year round to humans and their four-legged friends. There is a café downstairs known as ‘The Ritz’ and a beautiful sea-view restaurant upstairs in the Piano Bar open for pre-show meals.
Weymouth Pavilion is the town’s top venue for live theatre, music, arts, events and more. Their packed programme features world class comedians, live music, opera, ballet, musicals, drama and tribute acts.
Formed in 2013 after the successful bid by Phil Say to save the Pavilion from demolition, the Weymouth CIC operates in order to not only facilitate the upkeep of the building itself, but to benefit the Weymouth and Portland Community by providing a functional space for community, social and educational events. They now have a very busy program of Theatre shows and entertainment based events, along with private hire for corporate functions, conferences, meetings, weddings and parties within the many areas of the venue.
