Kingston Maurward Animal Park & Gardens

Kingston Maurward Gardens and animal park is on the edge of Dorchester, Dorset. There are plenty of animals you can meet and feed, plus a play barn and themed gardens.

The beautiful listed gardens and lake are home to the animal park.

Animals you can see include birds, pigs, ducks, rabbits, ponies and goats.

Most of the animals can be feed and by visiting you are helping animals through the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.

PLAY AREA:

There is a large indoor play area with climbing areas, walkways and a tube slide.

GROUNDS:

The grounds include 35 acres of formal gardens which were created early in the 20th century.

There are 11 different themed areas to explore including The Temple mound, a Japanese garden, Elizabethan walled garden and a secret garden.

There is a cafe in the indoor play barn area seving hot and cold food and drinks, you are also welcome to bring a picnic.
