Foxdown Children’s Farm

Foxdown Children’s Farm is located on the top of the beautiful Marshwood Vale countryside in West Dorset and has far-reaching views to the coastline. It has been a family-run working farm for the past 40 years, only opening to the public recently. Explore the farm at your leisure and on a guided tour. Feed and groom the animals and learn all about them before stopping for refreshments or a picnic and enjoying the play area.

The farm is open Spring to Autumn and from Monday to Saturday, with two different time slots available to visit per day. The family have been running the farm for the past 40 years and opened to the public to share their love for animals with others. Standard entry to the farm is available where you can enjoy the farm and facilities at your leisure.

Animal feed is available to purchase and animal handling is available at designated times. Alternatively, you can book a guided tour experience with a member of the team for a more up-close and personal experience, including feeding, grooming and talks. There are also Foxdown Cubs sessions suitable for anyone with small children after 5.
