Dorset Nectar is an award-winning artisan cider maker in the beautiful Dorset countryside between Bridport and Netherbury. The cider is fermented from sun ripened whole crushed cider apples then patiently nurtured to create a smooth, delicious cider that is fruity in taste and bursting with flavour.

Dorset Nectar has won many local and prestigious awards and always look to craft new cider blends and create something different. They produce many different ciders, made with a passion for the traditional methods of heritage cider making in Dorset that comes with years of research, a love for refreshing wholesome cider and a lot of late night cider tastings.

Book a Cider Tour and Tasting experience at Dorset Nectar – Bridport’s Organic Cider Farm

Experience the magic of the orchard.  Learn about the important role of bees in pollinating the apple blossom and have an opportunity to commune with nature in this stunningly beautiful orchard.

Explore some of the history and folklore behind cider and apple orchards.  Discover the ancient Celtic tradition of Wassailling  – a blessing of the orchard, where you make a huge, big NOISE to chase away anything that might affect the trees and the crop.

Then learn how they make their ciders, with an explanation of the harvesting and pressing procedures and then a description of how the cider is made, followed by a peek into the very up to date Cider Barn.

Finish with a guided tasting of award-winning artisan ciders.  If the weather allows, sit out in the sunshine in the Sculpture Garden, otherwise cosily indoors in the Tasting Room and shop.

Located near Bridport, Dorset, the Cider Farm tours run throughout the year, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 11.00am.
