Ninesprings Country Park

Ninesprings, on the outskirts of the town of Yeovil, is a beautiful country park covering 20 acres. The park consists of a large lake alongside the River Yeo and a number of streams, springs and waterfalls that flow down through an enchanting wooded valley.

The valley and river are home to a population of otters, many bird species, reptiles, bees and butterflies. Next to the cycle park and the car park for Ninesprings is the Ninesprings Cafe – the perfect start and end to a visit. It’s also an information centre for the park where you can read about the wildlife and history of the park and kids can play on interactive displays. Takeaway food and drink are available, to take around the park with you.

Ninesprings is a lovely place to visit with lots of footpaths to explore and benches to sit and enjoy the waterfalls, grottos and wildlife. It’s perfect for a picnic, great for kids and dog friendly. Well behaved dogs are welcome around the park and there is also an excellent play park for children.
