No Smartphone? No Problem!
Many of us have got used to doing new things online, over the phone or via apps. For some, the switch has been fairly simple, with many people embracing changes such as learning via Zoom or the ability to work from home. However, it’s become clear that often these changes do not work for everyone, with many people frustrated at things like needing to pay for council car parks using an app, or only receiving tickets to events via email.
At West Dorset Leisure Holidays, we’re always keen to move with the times, and are constantly looking for ways to stay with the trends and test out new technology that can improve or add something to our customers’ experience, both on our parks and before and after their stay. Many of these changes have also helped us become more efficient in the office, and reduced our environmental impact by eliminating additional printing. Whilst we have introduced new processes and ways of doing things in recent years, we’re committed to remaining inclusive and accessible to those who have been visiting us for years and might prefer a more traditional way of doing things.

- Our feedback survey is normally emailed to guests after departure, however you can chat to a member of our Reception Team or email the Bookings Team if you have any comments you would like to pass on at the end of your stay.
Making a booking:
- Our Holiday Brochure is digital, however if you struggle to view the online version, our Bookings Team can email you a PDF which you can view on your device or print if necessary.
- Our Bookings Team can help you make and amend bookings, answer any questions you have about your stay, or check you in online.
- Booking Confirmations and Terms & Conditions can be posted to you if you do not have an email address.
- You can book your next holiday at the Park Reception/SPAR before you leave.
When you arrive on the park:
- You can contact our Bookings Team on 01308 426947 who can check you in online before you arrive
- For touring & camping bookings, we operate an optional contactless check-in, however you are welcome to call into Reception when you arrive if you are unsure where to go or just want to speak to someone. For hire accommodation you will need to visit Reception to pick up your keys.
- At Graston Copse, Sandyholme and Eype Beach, receptions may be closed whilst our Team do jobs out on the park. If reception is closed then there will be a phone number displayed that you can call for any assistance.
- At Highlands End and Golden Cap, the Reception Team may sometimes be working from the SPAR store next door.
- At Reception/SPAR you can pick up a printed park map, walking maps for the local area and leaflets for places to visit.
Visiting Martin’s Bar & Restaurant:
- You can contact Martin’s Bar & Restaurant on 01308 426919 or by emailing bar@wdlh.co.uk
- Contact them with any questions or to book a table for the Sunday Carvery.
- The opening times are displayed at your park reception/shop and in facility blocks, as well as online.
Visiting Highlands End Leisure Club:
- You can contact Highlands End Leisure Club on 01308 426945.
- The timetable is displayed at Leisure Club, at your park reception/shop and facility blocks, as well as online.
- If you’re staying in accommodation that includes Leisure Club passes (lodges, apartments or bungalows), simply show the Leisure Club Team your accommodation keys with the name of your accommodation on them to receive your complimentary entry, rather than needing to use our app.
Using park facilities:
- Our park shops as well as Martin’s Bar & Restaurant and Highlands End Leisure Club all accept cash as well as card.
- Laundry machines at Graston Copse, Larkfield, Sandyholme and Eype Beach are coin operated. Laundry machines at Highlands End and Golden Cap are operated by an app, however if you speak to a member of the reception team, they may be able to help you with an alternative method of payment.
- You can purchase a wifi code from Reception/SPAR, or online via PayPal.
- Our electric vehicle chargers are operated by app. Unfortunately there is no alternative method of payment for the machines.
If you’re interested in buying a holiday home:
- We’re still producing printed holiday home sales brochures, which you can pick up from your park reception or can be posted to you on request. These contain general information about purchasing a home, and not information about specific holiday homes for sale at any one time.
- If you want to speak to a member of our Sales Team, you can visit our Sales Office at Highlands End, however we recommend booking an appointment by calling 01308 426917 or emailing sales@wdlh.co.uk to ensure that a team member is available to help you. Appointments will be needed if you wish to view a holiday home.

- You can enter your photos into our photo competition on our website.
