Bridport Street Market
Bridport’s market is a lively and much-loved fixture in the heart of the town, taking place every Wednesday and Saturday year round, with stalls along East Street, South Street and West Street. You’ll find a mix of local food producers, street food, artists, vintage traders, craftspeople and bric-a-brac stalls. On the second Saturday of each month, there is also a Farmer’s Market section along Barrack Street and inside the Lyric Theatre.
When the weather’s good, there’s often live music in Bucky Doo square that gathers a crowd. The market perfectly captures the creative, quirky and independent spirit of Bridport and is one of the most thriving regular markets in the South West. Whether you’re browsing for fresh bread and veg, hunting for antiques, or picking up a handmade gift, there’s something new to discover every week — all set against the backdrop of Bridport’s vibrant café culture and independent shops.
As with all street markets, if the weather’s poor, you might not see as many stalls present.
