How far is it from West Bay to Durdle Door?

Durdle Door is 29 miles from West Bay. The journey takes around 45 minutes by car, depending on traffic. It can take longer in the school holidays when there are an increased number of cars on the road. As you approach Durdle Door the roads narrow and wind through pretty villages. Care should be taken to drive slowly through these residential areas.

There is pay and display car parking available just a short walk from Durdle Door beach. You can also park at neighbouring Lulworth Cove.

Durdle Door gets very busy, especially in the summer months. We highly recommend arriving early to beat the crowds.
