Can you swim in the Fleet Lagoon?

Swimming is widely discouraged in the Fleet Lagoon due to the strong and unpredictable tides. Water activities are only permitted in the East Fleet and Mid Fleet areas of the lagoon (Ferry Bridge to Langton Herring).

We recommend heading to a lifeguarded beach instead.
