The Ultimate Guide – What To Pack In A Touring Caravan Or Motorhome
We know that packing for a holiday can be stressful, so we’ve put together this guide of what to pack in a touring caravan or motorhome for you to cross off as you pack. Of course, every family is different, so you might not need everything that’s on this list, and there could be things you’d like to add. We know that flags are controversial, so that one’s definitely optional! With over 50 years providing memorable family holidays on the Jurassic Coast, we’ve tried our best to include everything we could think of, so that you can avoid rushing to the nearest supermarket on your first night, when you just want to relax. You can either bookmark this page to look back at when it’s time to pack, or click the link below to download a PDF with the list on.

Find Out More About Our Parks
Pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes are available at 4 of our Parks in Dorset, each with their own features and characteristics. For a family-friendly holiday with stunning sea views and a wide range of facilities, choose Highlands End, with an on-park bar & restaurant, soft play, swimming pool, sauna & steam room, foot golf course and SPAR Store. If it’s proximity to the sea you’re after, choose Golden Cap, which has pitches just a few hundred metres from the beach at Seatown, plus its own SPAR store and fishing lake. For a more quiet and peaceful countryside retreat, while still being within 1 mile of the beach, choose Graston Copse in Burton Bradstock. If you want to be close to some of Dorset’s most famous landmarks and attractions, Sandyholme could be the perfect Park for you with easy access to places like Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, The Tank Museum and Monkey World.
If you’re wanting to stay over Winter, Highlands End and Golden Cap have pitches available all year round.
