If you’re dreaming of a peaceful camping escape for 2025, our non-electric camping meadows in Dorset, are the perfect place to slow down, switch off and reconnect with nature. Set in some of the most scenic corners of the Jurassic Coast, our meadows offer a more traditional and tranquil camping experience — no plug-ins, no distractions, just you and the great outdoors. We’ve got non-electric camping available at Highlands End, Golden Cap, Graston Copse and Sandyholme, so there’s plenty of choice to pick the perfect park for you.
Sandyholme Holiday Park
Nestled in the Dorset countryside is Sandyholme Holiday Park, a hidden gem that benefits from being close to some of Dorset’s most famous places to visit, whilst avoiding the crowds in some of the more touristy holiday destinations.
Just 5 miles inland, Sandyholme truly is the best of coast and countryside, surrounded by meadows, woodlands and small villages.
Visit Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Weymouth or Old Harry Rocks during the day, and then return to your tent to camp in a quiet field under the stars.

Graston Copse Holiday Park
On the edge of the peaceful village of Burton Bradstock, you’ll find Graston Copse Holiday Park. Surrounded by farmland and footpaths, with a woodland copse and peaceful riverside walk, Graston Copse is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
Stargaze and bird watch to your hearts content, or stroll along the river into the village or down to the sea.

Golden Cap Holiday Park
In the valley of Seatown, next to the South coast’s highest point, Golden Cap, you’ll find Big Berries Camping Meadow. This large open field has some great views and plenty of space to spread out, and you’re just a 10 minute walk from the beach.
With so much space, there’s room for plenty of campers, and we love the family-friendly-festival vibe that you find here in the Summer.

Highlands End Holiday Park
A quiet corner of the award-winning Highlands End Holiday Park, Little Shepherd’s is a peaceful meadow for those who don’t want to be far from the action. You’ll be just a short walk from the South West Coast Path to West Bay and can benefit from all the amazing facilities on the Park, such as Martin’s Bar & Restaurant, Dorset Foot Golf, Highlands End Leisure Club and more.
With just a handful of pitches available, this small meadow offers a calm and relaxing camping environment for families and couples.

- Opening Dates: 23rd May to 1st July and 5th July to 1st September 2025. Between these dates and up to the 25th September, weekends are also available.
- Suitable for tents and small campervans.

Here’s some key information about non-electric camping that applies to all our Parks.
- Check in from 1pm and check out by 11am.
- There is a maximum of 8 people and 3 dogs per pitch.
- Guests at all parks may use the facilities at Highlands End (charges apply).
- Pitches are not marked out, so you can camp wherever you like, providing you leave 3m between you and your neighbours for fire safety.
- BBQs must be raised off the grass and firepits are allowed if using smokeless fuel.
- Generators are not permitted.
