How easy was the process of purchasing your Holiday Home?
We found the buying process really simple and Jenny, in the Sales Office, supplied us with the name of a company who would maybe purchase our touring van (which they did), and pulled out all the stops so we could move in on the same day the tourer sale happened which saved us a long journey home & back with all our caravan belongings.
Which Holiday Park for you own your Holiday Home on and what factors led to you choosing that Holiday Park?
Larkfield Holiday Park. Wow, the location is fabulous, a quick walk to either the village or the beach. The food/drink choices available in local restaurants are top class, the walks are lovely and views are stunning. Bridport is a lovely shopping area on market days and the access to all areas of the Jurassic Coast is easy.

We love the location, the friendliness of our neighbours and the wardens- Deb, Phil & Paul and the access to so many areas of Dorset. Its definitely our new Happy Place.
What are the top 3 things you enjoy about the local area?
The stunning views with the changing seascapes, the beautiful walks and access to so many fabulous areas. Cocktail hour at the Seaside Boarding House also deserves a mention.
Where are your favourite places to places to eat / beaches / attractions / things to do?
Favourite places to eat include breakfast at the Hive Beach Cafe, lunch at The Three Horseshoes and evening meals at the Anchor Inn. For a special occasion the Station Kitchen is highly recommended. Sea Fishing, Kayaking and Paddleboarding have become new hobbies and a trip to Portland is a must.
What tips / recommendations would you make to anyone thinking about becoming Holiday Home Owners?
For anyone thinking of becoming a Holiday Home Owner, we would suggest a trip around all the parks owned by WDLH as there is bound to be one to suit your needs both in terms of location & facilities, along with variety and price of Holiday Homes on offer.Â
