Graham and Helen. Home is in Thatcham, Berkshire.

How long have you been Holiday Home Owners with West Dorset Leisure Holidays?

We purchased our Holiday Home in March 2023, following four years at a small park in Uplyme.

Which Holiday Home do you own (make & model) and what do you like about it?

We own an ABI Ingleton. We love its spaciousness and the fact we have a bathroom each. The overall quality, but the star of the show is the fabulous kitchen!

How often do you visit your Holiday Home?

As often as possible. We’re fortunate to be retired, so we probably spend around three months on and off through the season.

How easy was the process of purchasing your Holiday Home?

Very easy. Communication with Jen was excellent.

Which Holiday Park for you own your Holiday Home on and what factors led to you choosing that Holiday Park?

We are at Larkfield Holiday Park. We love the peace and quiet there, the fact that there are no rentals, and particularly the close proximity to the sea and the lovely village of Burton Bradstock.

What are the top 3 things you enjoy about Holiday Home Ownership?

Freedom to come and go as you like; living by the sea and enjoying exploring new places; having a second home but without the stigma of blocking up a local property.

What are the top 3 things you enjoy about the local area?

Hive Beach and the cafe; beautiful coastline and countryside; great pubs!

Where are your favourite places to places to eat / beaches / attractions / things to do?

Hive Beach Cafe, The Anchor, Abbey House Abbotsbury, Rise in West Bay. Lots of lovely walks and the coastal path. Going to Lyme Regis. Relaxing on Cogden Beach.

What tips / recommendations would you make to anyone thinking about becoming Holiday Home Owners?

Depending on your particular requirements, check the facilities, particularly if you have children. Be aware of additional annual costs, such as site fees, fuel, etc.
