Highlands End Nature Trail
When you next stay at Highlands End Holiday Park you will be in for a few new surprises!
Not only have we continued to review our environmental impact with a 2019 Recycling target of 50%, but we have now produced a free Nature Trail which takes you around the park and the surrounding countryside. There is a main route of 2 miles with options of two detours. The trail starts at the park shop and ends at Martin’s Bar & Restaurant for a much-needed refreshment!
The route takes in some of the best areas of the park, including Mower’s Mead Wildlife Lake, the new “Bee Bank” with wildflowers, and our new “Bug Hotel.” Along the way there are plenty of places to stop, relax and take in the surroundings with one coastal view allowing you on a sunny day to see 99 miles of coastline from Portland Bill in Dorset to Start Point in Devon. There are ‘letters’ to collect along the way, which can be unscrambled at the end to reveal the words and you can enter your answers into a prize draw for the chance to win £250 off a 2020 holiday!
Good luck!
