Celebrating with the best businesses in Bridport!

17 March 2022Holiday Park News, West Dorset Tourism

Martin’s Bar & Restaurant was proud to host the third annual Bridport Business Awards – a fantastic celebration of local businesses who deserve recognition across an array of categories.

West Dorset Leisure Holidays were thrilled to receive two awards!

First, we won the Green Eco Business award, something that means a lot to us as a company and as individuals. With lots of entries in this category we were overjoyed to win – you can read more about everything we do to help the environment on our Sustainability page.

We also won the overall award for Business Of The Year! A fantastic achievement which we are hugely grateful for.

We were also pleased to be nominated in the Family Business and Outstanding Community Support awards.

Well done to all the other fantastic winners and those nominated, and huge thanks goes to the award sponsors and organisers.

WDLH are now looking forward to the South West Tourism Awards in April, where Highlands End and Golden Cap are both in the running for Holiday Park Of The Year after achieving Gold and Silver respectively in the Dorset Tourism Awards in February. With only four parks through to the final, we’re over the moon to be two of them. There’s tough competition, with some amazing parks out there, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!

The 2022 season has got off to a great start for us!

What our guests say

  • The Most Magical Campsite

We have just come back from the most magical few days staying at Highlands End. In fact, it was so good we extended our stay by a few days whilst on park. We are new to campsites and this was beyond my expectations

  • Wonderful three night stay

Our pitch was spacious and quiet. The facilities were clean and a generous number of showers etc whatever time we needed them. A very picturesque site and plenty to do straight from the van without the need to drive

  • Beautiful weekend away

This park is in a wonderful location. The local village is beautiful and only a 15 min walk along the river. The beach is then another 15 minutes along - again a beautiful walk. We were blessed with amazing weather so we spent the afternoon on Hive Beach.
