Discover over 250 million years of history as you explore the interactive displays at Seaton Jurassic, a community lead centre, which allows visitors to learn more about the Jurassic Coast.

Children can take a hands on approach to aid their learning in the special ‘time machine’, which will transport your group to the early nineteenth century to learn about early fossil hunters and major discoveries along the Devon and Dorset coast. You can also ‘take the controls’ and travel to other countries, where you will find out about the prehistoric creatures that used to roam the land.

Following the ‘journey through time’, you will be transported to an underwater world where you can learn all about the creatures that inhabit Seaton’s rock pools. Roam around this giant model world at your leisure before climbing aboard the fishing to try and make the catch of the day!

Engaging events

Throughout the year Seaton Jurassic host a number of exciting events, designed to engage children with the natural surroundings and coastal and marine life. These include weekly craft sessions, nature trails and talks and seminars.

Relax and refuel

After a busy day exploring the centre enjoy a bite to eat in the onsite Cafe, which serves a range of delicious meals and snacks. There is also a gift shop, with exciting souvenirs inspired by the coastline and marine life.

Explore Seaton

If the weather’s nice take some time to relax as a family in Seaton Jurassic’s wildlife garden. You can also try your hand at finding your own fossils in the sandpit.

Visitors to Seaton Jurassic will receive an ‘access all eras’ pass, which you can use as you explore Seaton’s Jurassic coastline. At the discovery points you will stories.

  • 5 out of 5 isn't enough!

This is simply our favorite touring park along the south coast. The location couldn't be better with views to die for and an abundance of fresh sea air. The park is spic and span and extremely well kept with very friendly staff.

  • Fantastic Park

10 out of 10 is not enough for this Holiday Park. We have been here 3 times and we love it more and more every time. The park has all you need, with some pitches overlooking the sea and a great restaurant.
