COVID-19 UPDATE

Visitors to Dorset’s multi award-winning family theme park, Adventure Wonderland, can now safely enjoy a new outdoor live show, the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and a great range of outdoor rides and attractions.

Alice, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts will be on the outdoor Wonderland Arena Stage for new show, “Rock, Roll & Jam” twice a day (weather permitting).  Visitors will be able to take their socially distanced seats on the lawn to enjoy this rock-tastic, fun festival, sing-along show for all the family!

Rides and attractions include family favourites such as Jungle Falls, Battle Boats, Wild Bill’s Runaway Train and the Turbo Teacups.  Visitors are also able to see the pint-sized ponies in Shetland World, get lost in the south’s largest hedge maze and get adventurous in the outdoor play areas. And, for inquisitive visitors, there’s the outdoor Alice Trail where they can find out more about the story of Alice in Wonderland.

Grab and go refreshments are available. And, during August on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays visitors to the park will get 50% off food, up to £10 a person, as part of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme.  There’s also lots of outdoor space for playing and picnicking.

Adventure Wonderland has been awarded the Visit England ‘We’re Good to Go’ mark as all  the recommended safety measures have been implemented to keep the park COVID secure, ensuring the safety of visitors and staff.  This includes staff PPE, intensive cleaning regimes, sanitiser stations all across the park, social distancing demarcation lines at queuing points and one way systems where necessary.

Tickets for half day sessions are available via online pre-booking only in order to ensure visitor numbers are kept strictly within government guidelines.  The park will be open daily and the half day sessions will run from 9.30am – 1pm and 2pm – 5.30pm.  Entry for adults and children 3+ years – £12, 2 year olds, seniors and registered disabled – £6.

Dorset’s multi award-winning family theme park, Adventure Wonderland, with its great range of rides and attractions is the perfect spot for an unforgettable day out. Family favourites include Jungle Falls log flume, Wild Bill’s Runaway Train, The Ghostly Galleon and the Dance with the Stars marquee.

The park takes its inspiration from Lewis Carol’s timeless classic, Alice in Wonderland and children love getting to know the resident characters Alice, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, Mr Rabbit and the cheeky Cheshire Cat. Throughout the year the park welcomes a number of fabulous visiting characters for the day.

The park is set within wonderful parkland with the largest natural hedge maze on the South Coast with 1 ½ miles of pathways – perfect for an adventure. There’s also the new Shetland World where you can pat and stroke these pint-size bundles of fun.

And that’s just outside. There’s also the vast indoor Aztec adventure play centre, Wild Thing! with even more activities including the fantastic Montyzoomer’s Ball Firing Thunderdome and the new Jungle Zap Zone. Plus, new live shows in the weather beating Happydrome Theatre.

Easter, Halloween, Christmas and all the school holidays are always extra special times at Adventure Wonderland, so follow the park on Facebook or checkout the website, to keep bang up-to-date with the latest events. Children visiting Adventure Wonderland can get same day FREE entry to the Aviation Museum. • Beautiful weekend away

This park is in a wonderful location. The local village is beautiful and only a 15 min walk along the river. The beach is then another 15 minutes along - again a beautiful walk. We were blessed with amazing weather so we spent the afternoon on Hive Beach.
